The 2366B is a solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1971. It was produced in Japan. It's visually similar to Fender's Precision bass model.
The 2366B features a double cutaway solid mahogany body with selected birch top bolted to a hard laminated maple neck neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers and a maple headstock with a white truss rod cover. Components include a PB-Sound precision pickup's with a crome plated string damper and chrome plated steel bridge cover plate, a fancy laminated pickguard with a plastic tug bar, a fixed bridge with a chrome plated string dumper and a trapeze tailpiece, a plastic nut and chrome plated individual machines heads.
For 1976 the fingerboard was changed to maple and the fingerboard inlays to black dots. For 1977 a new finish in black was added.
The 2366FLB is the fretless version of this model.
