The 2364B is a solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1971. It was produced in Japan. It's visually similar to Dan Armstrong's acrylic bass model.
The 2364B features double cutaway transparent plastic body bolted to a maple neck with a mahagony center with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of Ibanez™ powerfull humbucker pickup's in the neck and bridge positions, a chrome 2-point fixed bridge with stop tailpiece, a rosewood grain pickguard, a plastic nut and chrome plated individual tuning machines.
Like the guitar models these basses were made at the Fujigen Gakki plant in Japan and were distributed in the US. by Harry Rosenbloom, in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.
The 2364 is the guitar version of this model.
The 2364B was discontinued after 1972.
