The 2354S is a solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1971. It was crafted in Japan. It's visually similar to Gibson's SG model.
The 2354S features a double cutaway solid mahogany body with selected birch top in dark mahogany finish bolted to a hard laminated birch neck with a medium C profile and a 22-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard with peraloid block position markers. Components include a pair of Maxon Super 70 Humbucking pickups with separate polepieces, individual volume and tone controls and a three-way toggle selector, a fixed bridge, and Ibanez tuning machines with pearloid buttons.
For 1973 the tuner was changed to full chrome plated. By 1976 body measurements were changed.
The 2354 is a similar model with a bigsby-style vibrato bridge.
