The 2351 is a Gibson Les Paul style guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1971. It was crafted in Japan by FujiGen. It's visually similar to Gibson's Les Paul model.
The 2351 features a single cutaway mahogany body with arched birch top in countoured gold finish bolted to a hard laminated maple detachabel neck w/ middle C profile, a 22-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid position markers and white bound edges , a white laminated pickguard. Components includes a Tune-o-matic style fixed bridge with a stop tailpiece, a pair of "Maxon" Super 70 Humbucking pickups with separated polepieces. The entire instrument was mirror polish by hand.
The 2351DX is a De-luxe version. The 2351M is a similar model with contoured maple top.
The 2351 production started with the Gold top finish but later in 1976 new finishes were added until being discontinued in 1977.
