The 2345 is a solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1975. It was crafted in Japan. It's visually similar to Gibson's SG model.
The 2345 features a double cutaway solid mahogany body with birch top mated to a set-in selected maple neck with a medium C profile and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block position markers, black side dots and an open-book headstock. Components include a set of "Maxon" Super 70 humbucker pickup's with individual volume and tone controls,three-way toggle selector, a Tune-o-matic bridge with vibrato tailpiece, and gold plated Smooth tuner machine heads.
For 1976 the headstock was changed to a revised design.
