The 1915 is a semi-hollow body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1971. It was produced in Japan. It's visually similar to one of Yamaha's bass models.
The 1915 features a double cutaway thinline semi-hollow mahogany body design with ƒ holes, arched top and mahogany on back and sides with white purfled edges bolted to a hard laminated maple neck neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers and a black open book headstock with a truss rod cover. Components include a pair of maxon mini-humbucker pickup's with individually adjustable polepieces, a black pickguard, a rosewood fixed bridge with a chrome plated string damper and a trapeze tailpiece, a plastic nut and chrome plated individual machines heads.
